ABOUT

My story doesn’t start in fashion, it starts in 7th grade: I was tall with a long torso and the shirts in 1999 were short. I felt awkward and uncomfortable 100% of the time because my shirts never quite reached my pants. For my sensitive nervous system, a short top is a big no. Anxiety takes over the controls and she doesn't know what to do. So the short-shirt fad was (and is) a nightmare.

Fast-forward to my twenties when athleisure exploded: Hurray! tops fit...but only if you wear workout clothes. I could find work tops here and there, but it was a lot of hit and miss.

Then the next decade: I was pregnant and learned about this secret market of comfortable clothing.. maternity. All of a sudden I could find long and comfortable tops. At first I thought, YES! Tops that fit! But then I wondered, Do I need to buy maternity tops from now on? What the what.

While binging Project Runway in my comfy maternity clothes (well past birth), it clicked that I could make my own tops. Surely I’m not the only person with a long torso? I’m probably also not the only person wearing tank tops all the time because that’s the only thing that feels good.

I found a great mom-run manufacturer in LA - Lefty Production Co. - and started working on the most comfortable top I could imagine. Now when I go to my closet looking for something comfortable but not athleisure, I have options.

Everything I design is boxjumpable - you can move your arms, sit on the floor, change diapers - and your clothing will stay put. I believe comfort is key to creativity, and I want women to feel cute and comfortable. Our sensory-friendly clothes allow for movement but they're not athleisure, they're legit comfy classics.

We launched with tops because that's the biggest need, but our future includes lots of dresses that are LONG ENOUGH and built with long torso proportions.

Best,

Greta
